In 2022, we donated $10,000 to support ReForest Now’s 5-year Banyula (“Place of many trees”) project to restore the Booyong Nature Reserve near Clunes, NSW. The reserve represents less than 1% of the original extent of the Big Scrub rainforest, which used to cover most of the Northern Rivers region. It has been identified as a critically endangered ecosystem.
ReForest Now have partnered up with landholder, Saratini Farms, to restore the ecosystem by planting 300,000 rainforest trees with up to 160 diverse species by mid-2023, and maintain these 300,000 rainforest trees by fighting weed competition over the next 5 years.

The Black Dog Institute is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to understanding, preventing and treating mental illness. With a vision to create a mentally healthier world, Black Dog works with scientists to discover the causes of illness and new treatments and placing focus on those with specific mental health needs like young people, Indigenous communities, men, and high-risk workforces.
Qudos Bank proudly support the Black Dog Institute by hosting small events internally throughout the year to raise funds. In 2019, Qudos Bank contributed $6,000 to the Black Dog Institute for R U OK day on September 10. In 2022, Qudos Bank donated $5,000 in support of the Black Dog Institute's vision and strategy.
Variety - the Children’s Charity supports kids who are sick, disadvantaged or with special needs to get a fair go in life. Their vision is for all Australian children to attain their full potential, regardless of ability or background. Variety’s mission is to allow children to gain mobility and freedom, physically and mentally.
We are honoured to support a charity who enable children to be the best they can be and to follow their dreams. Qudos Bank offers support by participating and helping in events hosted by Variety and by holding internal fundraising events.
In 2019, Qudos Bank supported the Ladies of Variety bi-annual Ice-Skating Event with team members assisting children around the ice rink and bringing smiles to their faces. We were also privileged to be apart of the Variety Kids Xmas Party full day event held in November, spreading Christmas joy and laughter.
Friends with Dignity is a national charity helping men, women and children who have been displaced by domestic violence.
Their team of volunteers work with referral agencies to turn houses into welcoming sanctuaries for people escaping domestic violence.
Qudos Bank have supported Friends with Dignity by hosting a number of internal fundraising events which raised $6,315 in 2019.
Foodbank has a footprint in every state and territory across Australia, providing food and grocery relief to more than 815,000 Aussies every month. Foodbank restores hope to people who are struggling by rescuing and sourcing food and groceries from farmers, manufacturers and retailers and distributing them to front line charities around the country to provide to individuals and families in need.
We’re proud to support the wonderful work they do to help people in our community. In September 2021, we donated $10,000 to support the work of Foodbank NSW & ACT. For every $1 donated to Foodbank NSW & ACT, they are able to provide 2 meals for people in need. Our donation contributes to 20,000 meals. In December 2021 we donated an additional $5000.
