Make the switch

Switching is easy, and we’re here to help. We can assist you to move your accounts and regular payments from your 'old bank' to your Qudos Bank account. These payments include any direct debits such as a phone bill, rental payment or any incoming credits like your payroll or share dividends.

Once you've joined Qudos Bank, it's easy to move all of your regular payments across. If you already hold an account with us that’s great, you can switch straight away.

Not yet a customer? No problem, you can join here and we’ll help you switch your banking over.

See below information on how we can do the switching for you or more information on how to do the switching yourself.

Let us help you switch

Step 1

Obtain your 13-month listing

Ask your existing bank to provide you with the last 13 months of regular payments.
Simply sign the switch of regular payment arrangements form and we’ll contact your old bank to provide you with the last 13 months of regular payments.

Step 2

Once you have identified the payments you want to switch, sign the 13 month list and notice of variation form and send back to us via the below methods and we’ll do the work for you.

Mail: Locked Bag 5020, Mascot NSW 1460 Australia
Branch: Visit a Qudos branch

Step 3

Close your old account

Once you have confirmed that your direct debits and credits have been transferred to your new Qudos account you should instruct your old bank(s) to close your account/s.

Cancelling a direct debit

We can cancel a direct debit for you and notify the other business to cease debiting your account. If you would like us to do this for you, we require either a signed letter setting out your instructions or our direct debit cancellation request form. Please ensure that you do this before the next payment is scheduled to debit.

You’d like to do the switching yourself

To do the switch yourself, you will need to write to the companies that direct debit or credit your account. To make it easy for you, we’ve provided some simple templates to use when notifying the company. You can find the company details by searching the internet or by locating the contact details on a previously issued bill or invoice.

When notifying the companies using the templates provided, remember you’ll still need the 13 month account listing to identify the payments.
