Announcing Noakesey 2020 TDP Scholarship winner
Tuesday, 9 June 2020
For a number of years, Qudos Bank has supported the prestigious Talent Development Project Foundation (TDP). The TDP is a free program training musically talented high school students for a career in the music industry both here in Australia and overseas.
Many of our members have had first-hand experience being entertained by TDP graduates in the Qudos Bank Member Lounge at Qudos Bank Arena before a concert and more recently through our Facebook Live Sunday Sesh performances. Each year Qudos Bank provides one worthy graduate with a $5000 scholarship to help progress their musical career.
This year we have the pleasure to announce that the recipient of this scholarship is Gus Noakes, aka ‘Noakesey’. Noakesey is a talented up and coming performer and composer with a passion for music. He graduated from the Talent Development Project in 2017 and since then has moved to Perth to study at WAPPA and regularly performs in many of the cities iconic venues such as The Moon, Prince Lane Bar, The Globe and most commonly, The Old Synagogue. Noakesey recently performed as part of the Qudos Bank Sunday Sesh performance series demonstrating his range of musical genres and talent.
We are proud to provide Noakesey with this opportunity on behalf of all our customers and give you a snippet of his talent through the video below.
