Wednesday, 18 October 2017

As you are aware member voting recently opened for the 2017 Election with 6 candidates standing for the 4 Board positions. Recently one of the candidates has notified the Board of a change in his position.

After serving on the Board for two terms, Director Josh Hatten has tendered his resignation from the Board and accordingly has withdrawn his candidacy in this year’s Election. On behalf of the Board, we thank Josh for his contribution over the past six years and wish him well in his future endeavours.

Recognising the importance of our members in the election of the Board and to ensure fairness to all candidates, the Board has decided to suspend the current voting process and re-issue the ballot papers with the names of the remaining five candidates.

As a result we have suspended the online voting page on our website and any electronic or paper ballots received to date will not be counted. Please note that we will re-issue paper ballots to our members and recommence online voting on 25 October 2017.

If you have already voted we encourage you to vote again when voting re-opens to have your say. If you have not yet voted please disregard the paper ballot previously received.

The key dates for the Election remain the same. In accordance with our Constitution, voting will close at 12 noon on Wednesday 15 November 2017 and the results of the Election will be announced at our AGM on 29 November 2017.
