Weekend Service Outage

You may have noticed that we experienced an outage to all banking services including Online Banking and mobile banking from Saturday lunchtime.
Some ATM and card transactions were also disrupted. A number of banking providers nationally were impacted by this outage, and our team worked around the clock with our service providers and network engineers to restore services as quickly as possible.
Services were restored as of 7:30am Sunday morning. As of this morning we have been advised that due to the outage some transactions may be showing as duplicate holds in Online Banking, these are being corrected as a matter of urgency and should be resolved later today.
We initially reported that the outage was due to network issues with Telstra, however we can advise that it was in fact a system issue on our end. All systems have now been restored and we’ll continue to investigate the cause to ensure complete resolution.
We appreciate that the outage on the weekend caused inconvenience and frustration to customers – we apologise and thank you for your patience and understanding.
