Notice is hereby given that the Sixty Second Annual General Meeting of Members of Qudos Mutual Limited will be held at 5pm on Thursday 25 November 2021 as a virtual AGM.

Director Election

Voting on the Director Election has now closed. The results will be announced at the AGM.

Director Candidates

This year we have 3 candidates running for election. You will be required to select up to 2 candidates for election. The 3 candidates are:

  • David Hassan
  • Rodney Watson*
  • Sally-Ann Williams*

David Hassan

David Hassan MBA, GAICD

David is a seasoned technology leader, who has worked in and out of the travel industry for the last 25 years. He is keen to leverage his experience to help Qudos Bank, achieve its strategic objectives. 

David's experience includes working for organisations such as Qantas (twice), Virgin, Amadeus, Helloworld and Accenture. More recently, he has worked at leading organisations such as Hollard/PetSure, a >$1b Financial Services business, and Hudson Global, a leading professional services/recruitment business. 

David is a firm believer in the customer experience, leveraging technology and data to provide an amazing experience but recognising that different people have novel ideas about how they want that experience.

For the last 6 years, David has also been a director of Scouts Australia (re-elected three times back onto the board), one of the largest youth organisations in Australia and the world. Beyond the satisfaction of helping kids develop and grow, it’s a complex not-for-profit organisation that has required very firm direction from the board on Strategy, Culture and Risk Management. 

Having been a member and user of Qudos for over 25 years, David is excited to contribute to the growth of the organisation and help its amazing journey.


Rodney Watson

Rodney Watson* MBA (Exec), F.Fin, GAICD

Rodney joined the Board of Qudos Bank in 2021 and is a member of Qudos Bank's Risk Committee.

Rodney is an experienced banker across all sectors and has been in the banking industry for 46 years.  He worked for a major bank for 43 years in Australia and the United Kingdom and now provides risk consultancy and advice to the financial services sector. 

His career at National Australia Bank included over 20 years in Senior Executive roles in risk and prior to leaving the bank in 2018 he was the General Manager Group Credit Risk, where he was responsible for the banks credit risk globally across all the sectors of retail, business, corporate and institutional lending.

He has since provided risk consultancy and advice in the mutual banking sector specialising in governance, adapting to change in prudential regulation and credit risk management.

Rodney is also on the board of AgriNous Pty. Ltd which is an agribusiness technology company and has had previous board and board chair experience in the health and education sectors.


Sally-Ann Williams* BA, MA, GAICD

Sally-Ann joined the Board of Qudos Bank in 2021 and is a member of the Technology Committee.

As CEO of Cicada Innovations Sally-Ann leads Australia’s pioneering deep tech incubator building companies solving the world's most pressing problems through science & engineering.

Prior to joining Cicada Innovations she spent over 12 years at Google as an Executive Program Manager leading pioneering R&D work, collaborations with universities on AI and machine intelligence, startup & entrepreneurship engagement and collaborating with Australia's Chief Scientist on skills & education for the future.

Sally-Ann is an experienced Non Executive Board member currently serving on the boards Cicada Innovations, Biz Capital and AusOcean an environmental not-for-profit organisation with a mission to help our oceans through technology. She is also a board Member of the NSSN, advisory board member of the Heavy Ion Accelerator NCRIS Facility, a member of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Agri-Technology governance committee and a member of the NSW Government Tech Central Advisory Board.

She is an advisor to several state and national working groups on tech & innovation and is a mentor and advisor to several industry and university incubators & accelerators including Startmate.

Welcome to our 62nd AGM

Our Sixty Second Annual General Meeting will be held at 5pm on Thursday, 25 November 2021 as a virtual event. To support social distancing measures and maintain the health and safety of our Members and employees we’ll be broadcasting our AGM Online. Online broadcast also allows for greater participation from Members around Australia. Members can participate and ask questions in the virtual meeting.

We have engaged Computershare and Lumi Global to administer our Annual General Meeting and associated communications for 2021.

Computershare are our returning officer and host the ballot voting portal, Lumi Global will live stream virtual event. If you choose to participate in the meeting online you can register at Registration will open at 4.30 pm, 25 November. You can log in to the Qudos Bank AGM by entering:

  • The meeting ID for the Qudos Bank AGM, which is (352-222-110)
  • Your username, which is your Member number
  • Your password, which is the postcode registered to your Membership if you are an Australian based member.
  • Overseas Members need to use a three-character country code as their password e.g. New Zealand - NZL, United Kingdom - GBR, United States of America - USA, Canada - CAN. A full list of country codes is provided at the end of the virtual meeting guide.

Please note, only eligible voting Members may ask questions online once they have been verified. We will endeavor to answer as many questions as possible towards the end of the meeting, however It may not be possible to respond to all questions at the meeting.
