Now you can add your Qudos Bank Visa Debit or Credit Card to Fitbit Pay for an easy way to tap and pay.

Fitbit Pay is an easy way to make purchases anywhere contactless payments are accepted around the globe—right from your wrist, no phone or wallet necessary..

Easy to use

Fitbit Pay is the most convenient way to pay—Simply hold your Fitbit watch by a contactless payment terminal and authorize your purchase.

Secure payments

Fitbit Pay uses industry-standard tokenization to help keep each transaction private. Plus, your card number is never stored by Fitbit, so you can pay without worry. For your safety, every Fitbit Pay transaction is covered by Qudos Bank fraud protection and your PIN code is required before making purchases.

Simple

Use Fitbit Pay anywhere that accepts contactless payments. Simply link your Qudos Bank card to your Fitbit device.

Once you’ve installed the Fitbit app onto your iOS or Android mobile you can add your Qudos Mastercard and Visa debit or credit cards to Fitbit Pay.

  1. With your Fitbit wearable nearby, tap on your Fitbit device image from the Fitbit app dashboard
  2. Next, tap on the ‘Wallet’ tile and follow the on-screen instructions to add your debit or credit card details. If you’re setting up Fitbit Pay for the first time, you’ll be prompted to set a 4-digit PIN code for your wearable (if you haven’t already done so)
  3. After you accept the terms and conditions, you will need to verify via SMS. We’ll send you an SMS with a unique code to enter in the Fitbit app.

Once your card has been activated, you’ve reached the finish line. You can now make contactless payments by simply holding the Fitbit wearable near the terminal

All Qudos Bank credit cards and Visa debit cards which support contactless payments are eligible to be added to Fitbit Pay.

Fitbit Pay can be more secure than using a physical card. A unique Device Account Number is securely stored on a chip in the device so payment can be made without any card information having to be shared with the retailer.

When you set up Fitbit Pay, you’ll have to establish an authentication method to authorise payments using a Fitbit 4-digit PIN code. Ensure you choose a PIN which is secure and not easy for someone else to guess. We suggest setting a different PIN to your physical card PIN.

Fitbit Pay will work in all countries where contactless payments are accepted, as long as your Fitbit Pay has been set up in Australia. We recommend you take your plastic card as a backup, as not all merchants in all countries may support contactless payments.

Please note, EFTPOS is not accepted internationally, so we recommend using your VISA as your payment option when you are travelling overseas or making international transactions.

If you make a transaction of over $100 you might be prompted to enter your physical card PIN at the contactless terminal. If a PIN code is required to authorise a refund, you will need to enter your physical card PIN at the terminal.
