From 1 July 2026, the way businesses send text messages is changing across Australia.These changes are designed to help protect you from scams and make it easier to trust the messages you receive.
When we send you a text message, you’ll usually see our name at the top – this is called a sender ID. From 1 July 2026, only verified businesses can use a branded sender ID. Text messages sent from Qudos Bank will come with the sender ID of ‘Qudos Bank’ or ‘QudosBank’.

This change happens automatically, so there’s nothing you need to do.
You may start seeing some messages labelled ‘Unverified’. This can happen when a business hasn’t registered their sender ID yet. If you receive one of these messages:
