How to maximise your Qantas Points earning potential with banking products

In addition to earning points on eligible Qantas flights, another way to increase your Qantas Points is to use banking products that reward you with Qantas Points.

With our Visa Platinum Credit Card you can earn 1 Qantas Point for every $1 spent on eligible purchases from $1-$2,500 per calendar month. Then 0.5 Qantas Points for every $1 spent on eligible purchases above $2,501 in that same month.2 In addition, you can earn 1 additional Qantas Point per $1 spent on selected Qantas products and services.3

Earn Qantas Points on your car loan balance

If you're in the market for a new electric vehicle4,5 or a used vehicle less than 5 years old, look no further than our Qantas Points Car Loan. Start earning Qantas Points1, making your next trip a reality sooner than you think. You'll earn 1,000 Qantas Points1 per annum for every $1,000 of your loan balance, credited monthly. It's ideal for new EVs or used vehicles less than 5 years, where your borrowing amount is between $15,000-$150,0006. There's a one-off $150 establishment fee (waived for EVs) but $0 account keeping fees throughout the loan. And last but not least, you'll receive a complimentary Qantas Frequent Flyer membership1

Earn Qantas Points on your home loan balance

With our Qantas Points Home Loan, you can earn 150 Qantas Points per annum for every $1,000 of your loan balance, credited monthly (any amount held in your offset account will reduce your loan balance for the purpose of the Qantas Points calculation).
