We’ve been made aware of a scam being promoted through a Facebook advertisement that encourages people to open a Qudos Bank account and provide personal information via Good Shepherd.
This scam is designed to steal sensitive information, such as bank account login, identification and myGov account details.
Qudos Bank will never ask you to provide sensitive information through third-party messaging platforms such as Facebook Messenger.
To stay safe, only use official Qudos Bank channels (qudosbank.com.au) or the official Qudos Bank app.
If something doesn’t feel right, don’t engage and report it to Scamwatch or call us on 1300 747 747.
