FAQs

How secure is a Fitbit Pay transaction?

Fitbit Pay can be more secure than using a physical card. A unique Device Account Number is securely stored on a chip in the device so payment can be made without any card information having to be shared with the retailer.

When you set up Fitbit Pay, you'll have to establish an authentication method to authorise payments using a Fitbit 4-digit PIN code. Ensure you choose a PIN which is secure and not easy for someone else to guess. We suggest setting a different PIN to your physical card PIN.
