Keeping you secure within Online Banking

QSafe SMS is a free service providing extra security when you bank or shop online. SMS authentication is used by leading financial institutions in Australia and works by providing you a 6 digit code via text message to your Australian mobile or landline number. You’ll use it when making new transfers or BPAY payments within Online Banking.

For our Members living overseas, we have an alternative solution. Please contact us on 1300 747 747 to find out more.

Online Banking FAQs

How do I register for Online Banking?

Please call us on 1300 747 747 and our customer service team can help set up your Online banking details. Alternatively, you can visit your closest branch.

Once you've registered, you can find our Online Banking login in the top right hand side of our website.

How do I get a password for Online Banking?

You can obtain an Online Banking password by visiting your closest branch or by calling our customer service team on 1300 747 747.

Your first Online Banking password will be a random password. When you access Online Banking for the first time you will be asked to change this password.

How do I reset my password in Online Banking?

If you’ve forgotten your password, you’ll now be able to reset it yourself in Online Banking. Simply click on the ‘Forgotten Password’ button. You’ll then be asked to fill in your details (member number, first name, surname, date of birth, email, mobile number and postcode), in order to verify your identity. Once all inputs are entered, you will then be re-directed to a confirmation screen.

From here, you’ll be asked to confirm your details. If all your details are correct, you can hit the reset button. You will be issued with a temporary password via SMS which you’ll need to change upon your next login.

If you experience any difficulties resetting your password, please call us during business hours on 1300 747 747 or drop by your closest branch.

How long will it take for my transfer to reach an account at a different financial institution?

Transfers to accounts at other financial institutions via EFT or BPAY will usually take up to 3 business days to arrive in the destination account. Please note that funds transferred on a weekend or public holiday may take longer as they will leave your Qudos Bank account during end of day processing on the next business day.

End of day processing occurs each weekday at 2:50pm (AEDT).

How do I activate my new card?
  • Log into Online Banking.
  • Once you are logged in, click on 'Services' and then 'Activate Card' in the drop down.
  • You will need to ensure you have QSafe SMS activated and request your code.
  • Select the cards to be activated and follow the prompts.

If you don’t have access to Online Banking, please call our customer service team on 1300 747 747.
